We are parked the third day now at the training track in downtown Anchorage - Randy trained 2 teams again today and larger longer tomorrow (bigger teams and farther).
Last nite we were invited to dinner and clothes washing to some people we met last year at the IFSS race in Daquaam - Becky raced in the skijouring competition - She stopped by and picked us up because our truck/trailer combo would not probably fit in their driveway- even though Becky wanted to believe so!! We had a delightful dinner in their beautiful home overlooking the city from the mountainside!!!! She is a retired art teacher and her home is like a beautiful art museum! Dave has done many things in his life including climbing Mt. Everest and Mt. McKinley! Warm (like 35-40 degrees) today and left the dogs out around the truck for most of it. Randy walked across the street for Quiznos for dinner!!!
Most important, we wanted to wish Aeja a happy 6th birthday and we called after she had gone to bed!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGEL!!!!!! Love Grandpa and Grandma Cris!!
