Saturday and Sunday at Studdert Track

Saturday morning we lost the furnace at some point (I could tell cause my face was getting cold!!!) so Randy plugged in the little space heater - which we luckily have) and then when we got up and around we found out that it was -24 degrees!!! Randy had another good run but only good enough to be in 14th place...... just to darn much good competition!!! In the afternoon we went to North Pole to buy some dog meat - the people ship in and then deliver all kinds of animal food and amazingly enough they sell the same dog meat that we buy from Medford, WI!!!! So it's good to know that we can not change their diet if we run out of what we brought with us! The remainder of the day was resting and recuperating and watching a little TV on the computer!!! It's incredible how many naps you can take when you are trying not to get or get over a cold!!!
Sunday supposedly was not as cold but damper so it felt just as cold!! Not as sunny either - cloudy all day with a little bit of snow in the morning - the dogs ran good today again and Randy almost moved up to 13th - only 3 seconds behind! he said that if Runzl had snow-dipped a few less times he would have done it!!! Everybody is pretty much packing up and leaving - I got a last minute hair wash in at the clubhouse before they locked it up!!! I will spend the rest of the time downloading some pictures from yesterday and today!
